We are here to assist you with your medical needs. Family practice physicians provide a wide range of medical care for adult and pediatric patients. Our physicians render primary medical care that is prevention oriented and long term for your family. We appreciate the opportunity to provide you with medical services. We want you to know about our practice and office procedures. The more you know, the better we can serve you. About Your Visit This following information is to assist you with what to expect with your visit. Check-In Appointments are a commitment between physician and patient. We ask that you telephone 24 hours in advance if you will be unable to keep your appointment. We ask that you sign-in with our receptionist who will also verify your personal information. If you are a new patient, please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so that we may complete all required paperwork. Parental consent or the consent of a legal guardian is required for treatment of patients under the age of 18 years. You will meet with a nurse who will ask you questions about yourself, your illness or injury, and your medical history. Because we strive to keep our information current, we will ask you to review your information at check-in at each and every visit. Billing Co-pays are due at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, local checks, MasterCard and Visa. As a courtesy, we directly bill many insurance companies. However, you are responsible to ensure that your insurance company pays within 30 days to avoid direct charges to you. Reference laboratories and radiological services will bill you or your insurance company separately. We are required to verify your insurance information at each visit and request that you bring your insurance card to every appointment. For payment arrangements or questions regarding your statement, please contact our centralized business office at (509) 586-5897. Phone Calls During office hours, physicians and their nurses are seeing patients. In most cases, a message will be taken and we will return your call before the end of the day. Lab/X-ray Results We realize that while awaiting test results, time passes slowly. You will be contacted immediately upon our receipt of any abnormal or problematic results. Routine results will be reported to you when they become available. The time in which we receive results will vary depending on when and where the tests were performed. Prescriptions Please have your prescriptions filled at the pharmacy of your choice. For refills, please contact your pharmacy directly. Please do not let your medication get lower than a seven-day supply before calling your pharmacy to contact us. We also recommend that you avoid calling on Fridays or Mondays as these tend to be busy days and refills may take longer. Please allow up to 48 hours for medication refills.
